Towing Pins
DATA towing pins are designed to provide maximum safety and functionality during mooring and rope handling operations. The systems are produced in four different sizes with various configurations, ensuring compatibility with all types of vessels and operational requirements.
In the hydraulically operated mechanism, the pins retract into the housing when not in use, creating a flat and safe deck surface — ensuring both aesthetic and operational advantages.
Towing pins can also be equipped with a movable fork option for anchor handling operations. All models are manufactured from high-quality materials, offering long service life, durability, and low maintenance requirements.

Features
As with all DATA products, the towing pins are designed and manufactured to the highest standards for use under harsh marine conditions.
Provides long service life with minimal maintenance requirements
Four different sizes available in various configurations.
DTP 8 model is designed for vessels with an aft bulwark structure.
DTP 10, DTP 12, and DTP 14 models are designed to be flush-mounted with the deck.
Options
In addition to the standard electro-hydraulic power unit, the system can be equipped with a hydraulic accumulator.
In case of a power failure on board, pins can be lowered using the pressure stored in the accumulator.
In addition to the bridge (wheelhouse) control panel, a deck-mounted local control panel can be supplied.
The deck control panel is installed in a waterproof enclosure.
DTP 12 and DTP 14 models can be supplied with one or two forks, suitable for anchor handling operations.
