Systems
DATA designs and manufactures hydraulic steering systems ranging from 0.5 kN·m to 600 kN·m of torque. These systems are used on a wide variety of vessels — from private and mega yachts to commercial vessels, tugboats, and naval vessels. Each solution is offered as a complete set including cylinders, hand pumps, bridge controls, hydraulic power units (HPU), starter panels, and rudder angle indicators.
Anchor Windlasses
Anchor windlasses are essential deck machinery designed to ensure safe anchoring and precise chain handling. DATA offers both horizontal and vertical windlass types, providing high-performance, customized solutions for commercial vessels, tugboats, and yachts of all tonnages.
Mooring Capstans
Mooring Capstans are powerful hauling systems designed to ensure the safe winding of ropes and chains on board vessels. Data Hidrolik offers mooring capstans with various pulling capacities ranging from 500 kg to 15,000 kg. Thanks to the design in which the gearbox and motor are positioned below the deck, an aesthetic and flush deck surface is achieved.
Chain End Fastening Devices
According to classification society rules, the end of chain in the chain locker must be connected to the hull in a detachable way. By means of the chain end fastening device, it is possible to set apart the end of chain remotely from deck or from a compartment neighbour to the chain locker. DATA offers various types of chain end fastening devices suitable for the chains in its range.
Mooring Winches
DATA’s mooring winches are built for pulling capacities up to 80 tons and braking capacities up to 180 tons. Available in hydraulic or electric drive options, the winches feature hardened steel gears operating in an oil bath. The friction clutch system ensures safe operation and overload protection, while the emergency release function comes as standard.
Tugger Winches
DATA manufactures tugger winches with pulling capacities up to 20 tons. Their compact design and high efficiency make them ideal for general handling, rope hauling, and maintenance operations on board. Available in both hydraulic and electric versions, they offer long service life and low maintenance requirements.
Towing Hooks
As with all DATA products, the quick-release disc-type towing hooks are designed and manufactured to provide long-lasting service with minimal maintenance under harsh marine conditions. Five models are available, with safe working loads (SWL) ranging from 15 tons (150 kN) to 100 tons (1000 kN), all meeting high safety and durability standards.
Towing Pins
DATA towing pins are designed to provide maximum safety and functionality during mooring and rope handling operations. The systems are produced in four different sizes with various configurations, ensuring compatibility with all types of vessels and operational requirements.
Stern Rollers
DATA designs and manufactures stern rollers for tugboats with safe working loads up to 300 tons. Each roller is custom-engineered based on vessel type and operational requirements. Its robust frame structure, high load capacity, and long-life bearing system ensure safe and trouble-free operation.
Hydraulic Systems
DATA hydraulic systems are primarily designed to power anchor windlasses and capstans. Through modular control valves, the same hydraulic circuit can also drive other deck machinery such as cranes, hatches, or drive units, ensuring compactness, efficiency, and operational safety.
