DZC 401E is the smallest model in the horizontal windlass series. It is driven by a 1200W electric motor operating at 12V or 24V DC and provides a maximum pulling capacity of 590 kg. The unit is equipped with a gypsy suitable for 8 mm or 10 mm DIN766 chains.

- The chain can be released via a loosable conical clutch, which also serves as an overload protection system.
- The housing is made of marine-grade aluminum and coated with white polyurethane paint (RAL 9010).
- The drive shaft is made of stainless steel.
- The gypsy and clutch components are made of chrome-plated bronze.
- The warping drum and manual override wheel are made of chrome-plated aluminum.
- The product is supplied with marine-type DC relays for reversible operation.
